CHAPTER HISTORY
The Chi Alpha Chapter was originally established at Clemson University in 1972 by international headquarters. For over 15 years the chapter existed primarily in Norris Hall on the Greek Quad and took great pride in participating in the annual homecoming float build, intramural sports, philanthropic efforts, and Spring Islanders on the shore of Lake Hartwell.
It wasn't until Fall 2015 the chapter was re-established. With 80+ brothers, the chapter quickly grew on Clemson's campus through recruitment and involvement. Today the chapter averages around 100 brothers and continues to build its presence at Clemson. In 2017, Chi Alpha was awarded Clemson IFC Chapter of the Year and Commitment to Service Awards. Brothers have also been awarded IFC Intramural Athlete of the Year, IFC Academic Excellence, and IFC New Member of the Year.
The chapter offers a wide range of social, philanthropic, service, networking, and leadership opportunities. Each year the chapter puts on the Frank Norris Pig Dinner to invite graduate brothers back to Clemson and reconnects brothers.
